Effective Nonprofit Leadership- Part 2

The cohort will explore topics including advocacy, financial management, governance knowledge and strategies to prepare board members to meet their fiduciary responsibility and increase the community impact of their organizations. This learning will be accomplished via traditional class work, individual development plans, group case studies and presentations from board members of high-performing and national organizations.

Serving on a charitable nonprofit’s board requires continuous learning about advocacy for the agency, making decisions in the organization’s best interest, ensuring good stewardship of the nonprofit’s assets, and forecasting to help the nonprofit plan and prepare for change.
